Monday thoughts.

If you buy the 100 calorie packs and then you eat 42 of them, have you really accomplished anything? Please say yes, please say yes (fingers crossed).

What can I put on my hair to put some MOISTURE in it? It's so very dry. Poor hair.

How can I like hard rock so incredibly much and then also like country music the same amount? They are 2 extremely different genres, and yet the only 2 types of music that I listen to these days. Part of the hard rock just happens to be Christian, so I think that makes it acceptable. Although, the other part is not so much.

1 hour and 21 minutes until I get to go home. I should walk tonight for exercise, AFTER I finish eating double decker tacos. :)

What am I going to take for clothes on vacation in August? Yes--I know August is a while away, but Colorado is not HOT like Arkansas.

I wonder how JT's day is going? Is Tater's new shock collar working to keep him in our yard?
*Note: We do not torture our dog. In order to keep him from being hit by a car, we have an underground wire that shocks him if he tries to leave the perimeter. The perimiter is almost 3 acres...he really doesn't have it rough. Just throwing that out there.

My Childhood

I totally stole this from PCOS Chick. I think sometimes we get so caught up in the whole 'trying to make the baby' process that we don't get to think about what will happen if we actually do. Of course we all want to be able to give our children/future children a great childhood...and so here is a little about my own.

• Where/when you born? December of 1983, in Arkansas.
  
• Were you born first, second, etc.? I am the oldest of 2. I have one sister that is 4 years younger than me.
  
• What was your first pet? The first ones that I can remember (not sure what order, or maybe I had them all at once) were Mandy (German Shepard), Jake (Mutt), Mom's cranky (Pekingese) Teesha, and a bird named Jonesy.
  
• What were you for your first Halloween? I have no idea, but I know that I dressed up as Alf one time when I was just a little tot, because I have seen the pictures.
  
• Was there a gift you really wanted for Christmas that you never received? Not that I can think of, we pretty much made out like bandits for Christmas. I am still waiting on my 4-door Jeep Wrangler though. (Mom)
  
• Did you have any imaginary friends? I don't think so....
  
• What were your favorite books? I loved pretty much any book, but I think Charlotte's Web has always been a favorite. And I used to love The Babysitters Club, and R.L. Stine books when I was pre-teeny.
  
• What did you wanna be when you grew up? I wanted to be a veterinarian. As I got older I decided that was too much school.
  
• Favorite after-school, never-missed shows? I can't remember. Except that around Christmas time I RELIGIOUSLY watched The Santa Show. I know that my sister and I also really, really liked the Dinosaur show...where the baby always said "Not the Mama". haha
  
• What was your favorite toy? I had a whole mess of Barbies, but I played softball from age 4 until now...so I mostly liked my softball stuff. Oh and I can remember liking Cabbage Patch dolls . And Lincoln Logs at my Grandparent's house.
  
• What was your first best friend's name? The first one was Latasha. But the one that stuck the longest is Jessie. (since 3rd grade)
• Broken any bones or had any freaky accidents as a kid? It would be quicker to list accidents that I didn't have. My nickname was Crash, if that tells you anything. Nothing too serious though. A broken arm. Stitches in the head. Road rash...those kinds of things. Oh and a nasty black eye that lasted for.ev.er.
  
• Did you play house or pretend to be a super hero? I think I played house with my sister and cousins.
  
• Were you romantically involved with someone as a pre-teen? Haha, yeah...middle school was my prime. :)
  
• Did you get along with your parents growing up? Mostly. I was a teenager there for a while, so I think it was a little rough...but we're good now.
  
• Were you involved in any extra-curricular activities? If so, what? Softball to the extreme. Traveling all Summer long and at a different tournament every weekend, not to mention game and practice nights. It was good times.
  
• What was the first record, tape or CD you remember buying? I can't remember the first cassette I had, although I had several. Maybe New Kids on the Block??? But I can for sure remember that my first cd was Hanson. lol
  
• Did you ever fall in love with someone in high school? Well yes actually...and I married him. :) Well, I didn't marry him in high school...but a couple years later.
  
• Did you enjoy your childhood? Yes--it was a good one.

Uneventful is good.

Is it really Monday again? Like for real? My eyes are only 1/2 way open, so it must be. I left the house early for Starbucks this morning, because I thought that would help wake me up--but it didn't. Idk why, but I just couldn't sleep last night. It was all stormy and usually that's good sleeping weather for me, but not this time.
My weekend was good--no drama, no stress...uneventful is good. Left work at 11 on Friday and went shopping with my Mammaw. Got some Yellowbox's, a new tie dye purse, 2 watches, and some earrings and ate at the wonderful BlazeNBurrito. Then I spent the rest of the afternoon and a good part of Saturday laying out in Mom's pool. We did some experimenting with my hair, haha--I had planned to dye it black (again) and then put some blue underneath. I know that sounds emo, but I had a picture that I was going by of Korey from Skillet and it would have looked really cool. Anyway, the blue did not show up over the black, and I am NOT bleaching it to put blue on it...so that was that. My husband loves the black hair, so we'll go with this for a while. As long as I have a tan it shouldn't be too bad--but for winter we are going to have to lighten it up a bit or I will look like Night of the Living Dead.
Rented some movies at the Redbox and then forced myself to stay home Sunday and clean and do homework, which I did accomplish. Hallelujah. Anyway, I have been wanting to watch Alice in Wonderland because I am a colossal dork so I rented that and I liked it. :) And hub would NOT watch it with me, haha. We also rented From Paris with Love and Funny People. It was a wide combination of drama, crude comedy and computer animations.
Back to work....not wanting to wish my life away, but hoping it goes by fast because I have a 3 1/2 day weekend up ahead.

Jeez.

Once you post something on here, there's no getting rid of it. I did a post earlier where I whined a lot, and then I decided that I was too whiny so I took it off--but it has been brought to my attention that it's still there somewhat. Anyway, this particular post is stupid...but it will replace the old one. :)
